Refund Policy

Payments for Socratic Heuristic are processed through our payment partners. This page describes our standard refund process and your statutory rights where required by applicable law.
1. General Refund Policy
Unless required by applicable law, all transactions are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. We may issue refunds on a discretionary basis or if you exercise an applicable statutory withdrawal or refund right (see Section 2 below).
Refunds will not be issued where there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behaviour. If you receive a refund, access to Socratic Heuristic will cease.
2. Statutory Withdrawal Rights
Where local consumer protection laws grant unconditional withdrawal rights, those rights apply and override any other terms. The following country-specific rules apply:
- EU / EEA / Switzerland / UK: Consumers have a 14-day statutory right to withdraw and receive a full refund. This right does not apply if you have started downloading, streaming, or using the product and gave express consent to waive your withdrawal rights.
- Turkey / Israel: Consumers have a 14-day statutory right to withdraw and receive a full refund.
- South Korea / Brazil / China / Canada: Consumers have a 7-day unconditional right to cancel and receive a full refund.
- Singapore: Consumers have a 5-day unconditional right to cancel and receive a full refund.
3. Discretionary Refunds
We may, at our sole discretion, issue a refund if a request is submitted within 14 days of the transaction date. Submission of a request within this period does not guarantee a refund. All requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
4. Technical or Product Defects
If you experience persistent technical issues or a material defect that prevents you from accessing the features or benefits as described, please contact us first. If the issue cannot be resolved after troubleshooting, a refund may be issued in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund or exercise your statutory withdrawal rights, you can:

If eligible, refunds will be processed using the same payment method where possible, within 14 days of approval.
6. Subscriptions and Cancellations
You can cancel a subscription at any time to prevent future billing. The cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period, and no further payments will be taken. If self-service cancellation is not available in your account, contact support and we will process it for you.
